GoldenPride Puppies are registered with The Canadian Kennel Club on a non-breeding contract. Our aim is to raise healthy happy Golden Retrievers in our family environment. Below defines our sales agreement and guarantee to prospective puppy owners.
Our puppies are guaranteed to be in good health and vet checked at the time of sale. He/she has been seen by our veterinarian and inoculated with the first preliminary shots, microchipped for identification, and preventative worming have been administered prior to puppies going to new homes. Hip, Elbow, Heart and Eye clearances are for genetic hereditary diseases which are common in the Golden Retriever breed.
Of course we cannot guarantee every health aspect, injury or illness your dog may encounter, and for this reason we give you the best possible start with Trupanion health insurance and encourage you to hold this policy up until your puppy is 2 years of age. We offer a 24 month guarantee on OFA Hip/Elbow, Heart and Eye Genetic issues from date of birth. Health guarantees a refund of up to $500 to help with expences and this guarantee will be honored after providing proof by a Board Certified Genetic Specialist confirming the genetic default that prohibits the dog to live our their lives as your pet. Proof of continuation of the Nuvet suppliment, veterinarian records and quality food will be required. Overweight dogs are not guaranteed since excess weight is excessively hard on growing hips elbows and joints.
We have spent endless hours researching our bloodlines to ensure each puppy genetically sound and free from clinical signs of health debilitating defects. We test for hip and elbow dysplasia through genetic testing through x-rays and evaluated by OFA Board Certified Radiologist. Eyes are checked by Opthamologist and Heart examined by OFA testings Cardiologist...These screenings and tests are costly, but extremely necessary in order to provide happy healthy puppies. We often also use EMBARK Genetics testing for breed related health and breeding soundness. We preform ENS Early Neurological Stimulation on all our puppies from day 3-16 which has be proven to dramatically improve puppies cognitive, social emotional and health benefits.
All puppies are sold on a CKC Non Breeding contract for many reasons, including a strick code of ethics all reputable breeders and the CKC follows. We breed for the betterment of the breed which helps us to protect the breed and its future!
Deposits is our guarantee to you in providing you with a puppy within 2 years of receiving your deposit. Deposits are non refundable If you have to change your comittment to us, your Deposit is transferrable up to two years for puppy from a later litter if your personal life circumstances require you wait for a better timing.
Deposits are not accepted until you have read and agreed to our agreement and guarantee. By placing your deposit, you understand and agree to our sales agreement, deposit clause and health guarantee.
